I'll tell you what. This is a hell of a lot better than Island's "Who's The Better Negotiator - McCain or Obama" thread. With this one, you need to at least break down intent and verbiage:
O.K. - "chained" is the operative word. And knowing the Dem thought, they are more so "chained" to Obama and the Dem cause more than any time I've seen.
1) More so than Carter - I remember Dems
hating him, particularly after Iran took Americans hostage and Carter could/would do nothing about it.
2) Dukakis - a joke and completely inappropriate for the times.
3) Gore - let's face it, he's sort of a whack job.
4) Kerry - the train travels a 1/4-mile and flies off the track. Some Dems wanted to vote for Bush
in spite of Kerry.
Now, the *****'s hit the fan for Democrats. Bush has caused so much chaos in the last 8 yrs., that Obama and his so-called ultra-liberal view has become the natural reaction. "Chained." Yep, it's the Democrats who are "chained" to Obama as they can't bring themselves to the thought of voting for McCain. It's sad, but Democrats are, at this point, pawns in the election.
