The mechanic claims that he has never seen one successfully repaired. From searching here it does not seem that uncommon. I am not completely convinced that I did not fix the part of the airbox I attempted to fix, only to shift the problem to another leak in the system. Anyway, I do not doubt I have the ability to install the EFI, the main concern would be the tuning and if I want to invest that much time. The big question is if that time would at all increase the value over the car with a stock injection system. Assuming both are working properly.
