my clutch pedal mounting bracket has cracked
my 965 turbo im assuming has the exact same pedal mount set up as the 964 i was having difficulty engaging 1st gear, very notchy, anyway had a look around the pedal area and where the clutch pedal hydraulic piston mounts the bracket has a clean crack right across.
i presume this is the cause of my 1st gear not engaging properly, is this a common fault
the piston not having a solid surface to mount to due to the crack seems to bend to the right very slightly as the pedal is pressed.
can i remove this bracket without disconnecting the hydraulic cutch piston
