Currently I have a non-stock non-moveable antenna on the drivers front fender. I have read that this is the location for the stock location for manual antennas. What I would really like is the electric antenna. Can it be installed in this location? If so, why the two different locations for the two types of antennas?

Also what is the best procedure for removeal and replacement? Any gotchas?
