Use no sealant of any kind. It's a mechanical compression fitting. It's either too loose to seal OR someone has damaged the mating surfaces by tightening it too much. Either way the case fitting and the line can be replaced. You have come too far to let a little thing like this slow you down.

Now that the motor is running can you send me a PM about the tail? I want to have one on the race car this winter, so no rush.
