Your old location sucked and your new location is a little better. IMO the scoops should have been mounted further forward and turned the other way in order to allow the hot air to escape and also it would create a lower pressure area under the car. This would increase flow through the radiator and also decrease the amount of air going under the car. Why do you have those cone filters on there anyway? At this point you may be committed to the orientation of the scoops. At least tie the intake tubes into the scoops somehow.
Is that a spray paint cap in place of a washer res. cap?
