Funny about the name; the official website says S1000RR and the Spanish website says R1000SS which for sure NEVER will happen (the double S thing)...
Yes BMW is going for the "normal" 4-in-line but apparently it produces a lot of torque; will be interesting to see the comparison between the new R1 with big-bang engine and the BMW with (probably) double VANOS...
