You have to dismantle the Tranaxle and pull the pinion shaft to get the diff from a 944, it's not like a 911 where the carrier just comes right out, as it's on the inside of the pinion since the transaxle faces the other way.
BTW, on my shipping quote earlier, I was just informed today by my friend that billed the shipping for me that UPS added a $40 surcharge to the shipping bill halfway through the transit. She forwarded me the notice from UPS so I know she's not full of it. That brings it closer to $200 to ship from AL to UT

I don't have the heart to call the guy and hit him up for $40 more after everything is said and done, it just doesn't seem right, so be advised if you ship the whole thing...
