Well I have been watching and I'm going to comment on a few things -

Number one why the 8 pm starts = Two east coast teams - Baseball is short sighted here - hell even the Saturday game was scheduled for 8:00 (which didn't even start till 10:00) in 10 years when baseball wonders where all their fans went because they didn't start at a reasonable time where the kids could watch and become fans.

Number two - The umpires - Good god - do they need to bring instant replay? Missed calls on both sides - if you are going to show the strike zone graph - then follow it. They'd be better off not showing it because all it has done is highlight the inconsistency of the umps in calling strikes. MLB uses it to grade the umps? Give em an F

Number three - the season is too damn long. There's a chance of snow tonight - 40 degrees and raining is not ideal for baseball. My hands were stinging when the players were batting in that crap. diong! Shorten the season - World series should end the beginning of October - end of story.

Number four - baseball should be played outside - yep - they are positioning for a new baseball stadium in Tampa Bay - yep - an outside stadium - STUPIDEST thing I have heard in years - if you don't think it's stupid - and you insist on OUTSIDE baseball - I'd be glad to get you tickets to one of the first Tampa Bay Bucs games of the season. After you bake and I do mean BAKE in the stadium for two hours we can revisit the question. In August here it's even hotter - and it rains EVERY afternoon.

Last comment - the games last night. What a friggin sham - it probably should never been started. I really think MLB was grateful the game was tied so they could postpone it. They didn't want to call the game (which would have ended the world series with the Phillies ahead). The phillies have played better ball. The Rays (not devil rays, just Rays) are a young team - and they have nutted up during the WS - not the same team that won the ALCS. If they get back to being the team that they were and start swing their bats - They will give them a run for their money. From a last to first - and with the lowest payroll in history they have exceed all expectations by just being in the world series.
