The HP2S does things better then the R12S 10% of the time and appears to be worse for 90% of the time. At the moment the new K1300S is looking more attractive as it will be potentially better for my use 90% of the time. The R12S sits between the K13 and HP2S, so I am sitting on the fence, its good fun but is a little tyring for highway cruising.

This is NOT a Sport-Touring like the HP2, R12S, K12S, K13S. This is a full blown Sport bike! So no one cares if the bars are too low, lack of wind protection, ride confort, or availability of a tank bag... That is what a sportbike is. The S1000RR is a sportbike, not a Sport-Touring.
