Tom Amon is the man...
I know many of you have said it before, but I just have to put in a good word for Tom again.
This guy knows his stuff. This is the second time he has serviced one of my P-cars, and I can't even begin to tell you how professional this guy is. Everything he does is so precise and efficient. The set up, repair, clean up is second to none. He came out to do a major service on a recent acquisition (964 with 31K miles) and found a broken dist. belt, removed it and put in a new belt without missing a beat. Managed to complete everything that was planned and some (adjusted the carbs on my 912) ahead of schedule. The car drives 100% better.
I often wonder what the Porsche world would be like for the non-DIYers if Tom were to retire one day. Maybe then I will pick up a Vette or something if they are still in business. Scary thought! LOL
