yes i did post a pic of "SON OF SUPER DUPER MATCH" aka meee-ster SOCOM. meee-ster SOCOM also was purchased, lierally ran home to safe and grabbed 200 rds 147 fmj's and lit 200 rds (10mags of 20) and it was handed over to arringtonaccuracy.com for a massage.

phil wanted me to wipe down factory lube, lube rifle , and shoot the snot out of it. which we gleefully did............in as much time as it takes to click "8" clicks up for 100yd zero (1"MOA = 1 click on socom vs national match sites on super duper match which are 1/2" MOA = 1 click) and then sight in for 200yds.

a little bit of change btwn the 2 bruddahs but not much. especially when ya shoot alot of 147fmj's making the transition to 168gr federals just brings groups tighter if not touching if not going thru same hole.

both of my children are fed after birthing and teething and massaging..........a strict diet of federals. unless just wasting ammo on rock squirrals or rocks.

if ya want to outshoot yer buddies next time at range do the following.........

shoot round. let barrel cool with WET shoprag from 6 packer ice chest. swab barrel with sweets 7.62. use another patch to dry. then use patch with light lube of CLP. grab barrel if cool to touch then shoot another round. repeat.

since its almost elk season for us everything at my house has focused to preparing gear. and as we all know after doing this for awhile we accumulate a ton of crap. soooooooooooo........this year...

each gun has its own case. hard or soft cases can alternate if need be., all dependant on terrain and weather. each case is self sufficient for that weapon. ie. each case has its own breakdown cleaning kits. socom has its GI cleaning kit in buttstock. all swabs/bore cleaner/lubricants/5-rd hunting mags, spare gizmos etc., specific to gun enclosed in each case. ammo enclosed in each case. all barrels either have factory muzzle cap or i cut fingers off of surgical gloves and sealed barrels to avoid mud/dirt/dust/rain/snow from entering barrels.

each weapon lubed with MIL.COMM lubricants to avoid dirt /dust retention on actions.

all sidearms have their own specific cases(rugs) with cleaning kits spares etc.

happiness is making room in your safe and finally getting it organized.
