using those brushes after you've been in the shower for a while is the best way

the shower soften everything up and brush gets down there and agitates the hairs at the base

'course, I never do that - I'm too lazy

I just use shampoo or soap - whatever is laying around - the Mach III with the sonic vibrator works great, no matter what. Huge improvments over the old "safety razors" -- makes sense as Schick/Gillette/et al. spent huge engineering bucks...
