Took mine out years ago but cannot remember what the wiring was like. But I'll take a stab at it anyway. The seat will come with some sort of pigtail ending in a male or female plug. If the plug has only two prongs, one is ground, the other is +12V. The switches on the side of the seat will reverse polarity to change direction of the DC motors. Switches will also send juice to correct motor depending on how you push the switch. My guess is that there is only one connection (plug) with two prongs - one hot, the other ground. But this is only a guess.
Your car might already have the wiring in place even though it has manual seats. If it does, you might just be able to plug it in. My '86 has wires under the dash that end with just a male/female empty plug. The plugs were for some option that was not selected when the buyer purchased the car.
My electric driver's seat weighs 49 pounds.
