-cook a simple meal
-defend himself in a fist-fight
-catch a ball
-Every man should be able to explain most of the rules for Baseball, Football, and Basketball. If you're from the hinterlands, include hockey. From anywhere besides the USA? Soccer.
-how to give himself a testicular exam
-How to answer these questions from a wife or girlfriend: IS THIS A TRICK??
*Does this (blouse, skirt, dress, etc.) make me look fat?
*Did you think that girl was pretty?

And about putting out fires... I think I know how, just don't have a very good record.
