Rent a wreck's price is 150.00 a week. Cheapest big name rental: Thrifty @ 617.00 for 28 days. I agree whole heartedly with the fact buying a $1k car is a risky proposition. But at a minimum price of $1200.00 for a car I have to give back, that just rubs me wrong. I have spent a LOT of money on rental cars over the past few years. It costs $850.00 each way to ship my P-car. That and possibly three weeks. I just thought I would see if anyone happened to be selling a 15 year old Honda or something. Just exploring my options.
