That is the Reset button for the central warning light in the center console/pod. By pressing this button, you can turn off the warning light (!) for group "B" related problems like low windshield wiper fluid warning or tail light bulb is out warning. The individual warning light in the console will remain on as a reminder to have the fault corrected though.

The reset button does not apply to group "A" related problems...the serious problems, like belt tension warnings or brake problem warnings, these type of warnings will not be reset until the problem is fixed.
