911 seat recliner repair
Hi,
I have a 73.5 911T and recently bought a set of stock seats (not sports) for it. The seat recliners are black painted as original but need to be repainted. I have them off and would like to get them powder coated, however in order to take them apart I need to remove the plastic cover over the inside spring. On one side of the cover it snaps free but on the opposite side it looks like it may be glued to a metal strip. Does anyone have any ideas on how to release this side of the plastic cover and remove it? Tia

btw the recliners that I am talking about are the same as the chrome ones on earlier 911s and 356s.
