It's pretty laid back, Normally they run two groups. (Or it ends up that way). One group who likes a little (legal) speed, and the other that prefers a more cruise type trip.
We meet up at a coffee house and leave at a scheduled time( between 6-7am). The earlier the better since Palomar is a popular road used by bikes, bicycles, and cars. From the coffee house we head up to Palomar, stop at the top then head back down. There are other roads we take afterwards. All are really fun roads. Afterwards we end up at one of the wineries. My family and other families meet us at the winery last time. After the winery we're all on our own. Some people did not go to the lunch so that's fine too but the lunch really finishes the ride nicely.
There's plenty of time through the trip to take photos and talk about cars and meet new people.
It's a good time.
