replacement front rotors for 79 floating design

Looking to find replacement rotors for the 78-79 front floating rotors on my turbo.
It has OEM stock 917 style brakes and calipers.
OEM rotors are about $450 per and I am looking for an alternative rotor assembly or other way of modifying later model rotors to fit the 79 hats so that I can save some money.
Has anyone found a solution that works and is less costly than replacing with stock rotors at $400-$450 a pop?
I know that upgrading to later 80-89 hubs would allow later non-floating rotors but I wanna keep the floaters for their better thermal design and they are better suited to track days and DE days.
Plus avoid the cost of new hubs.
Fred
