Upgrading to Boxster Brakes
With all regards to Sammyg, my 914 race car needs better brakes than the S-types I'm currently competing. There are myriad options: A-types, Outlaws (currently from Outlaw or Pegasus), or Boxster brakes. Questions I have not found the answers to: Do the Boxster calipers require an adapter (currently using 911 turbo front struts and 3.5" spacing on the mounting ears)? Will these calipers fit under 15" wheels (monetarily cannot make the jump to hyperspace and 16s or 17s, at this time)? And, will I have to change my master cylinder if these other questions are answered affirmatively (19mm master cylinder, currently)? I realize that a change to at least Carrera rotors is in the offing, so, any guesses, SWAGs, or just plain WAGs?
