I hear you 100%, and this is my daily driver not a full on racer. Any events I go to will only be DE and that's maybe 1 time per year as I'm not in the US but a few weeks a year. I know full well the risks taken with a car like this - but for everyday use I don't want a roll bar or cage. I will be running a few high speed events for which I'll have a removable roll hoop installed but for now I just want to keep it stiff and light.
I would never use a seat that didn't have the proper harness routings and I don't recommend others to do that either, hence why I'm using the GT3's with the anti-sub belt and all proper mounting points as designed from the factory.
Where i'm at in Texas they will be looking to see for DOT approval (paperwork which I have) for the belts and mounting setup so I can get her registered.
Thanks for all the concerns and I hear them 110% but at the end of the day, a setup like this depends on the use of the car.
