We have a 2yr old and during the name decision process ( we did not find out the sex until birth ) my wife told me she already had a name if it is a boy. My first thought was " Hey, don't I get more of a say in the male name choice?". But after hearing it and giving it some serious thought I realized that it was a good strong name. We had a name for a girl as well but when my
son was born, I went out and told the family that Sam had arrived.
Samuel Rush Davis. The middle name is for wife's Grandfather. In a time when names like Chandler or others that may be considered part of the snob set, I think a straightforward strong name is refreshing.
Please let us know how it goes and what name you go with.
