And who did Yamaha rip off for the R6? Aerodynamics dictate the shape, I4's originated in Italy.....everybody is using what wins. If the rules were changed to give an advantage for having a Windjammer fairing, everyone would have one of them too.
Don't worry so much about "if" the BMW looks like whatever. What counts is the BMW roundel on the side of the winning bike.
