Prices are dropping as the economy sags. I am a Ford guy, but I bought a 73 Blazer years ago because it was a little bigger and more solid. My buddy had a Scout with a slant four turbo diesel (stock) that ended up leading the Tierra del Sol jeep rally with the stock skinny rims and tires on it. People would cry bs when he told them what powered it. Hand throttles with a stick and 4x4 are awesome when crawlin.
