YMMV, but in my case, the bumper shocks were too long, even when trying to use fronts.

Bumper shocks are *heavy*! My replacements are fairly light, and if I was set up to weld aluminum I could go one better.

The other cool thing about my telescoping setup is it makes the cut&test cycle *very* fast!
