I think the major difference would be actually similar to doing a top shelf rebuild on a 3.6 993 NA motor. If you wanted to use new OEM everything it would be crazy expensive. If you had a rare car or a concours type situation, as would be common with a GT3 to preserve value then you would go with $3000 Prankles. Even though the aftermarket can now provide better cheaper solutions in many instances. Another example might be valve springs, the OEMs would be very high$$, equivalent or better quality from Jerry Woods or somewhere would probably be cheaper but might hurt the value on a low miles pristine example.
I dont know why a GT3 motor would be any more complex than other motors but it may be.
