The "new" manufactured seals are just a tad different. Your adjustments sound good as the guid pins are lining up. the other adjustment is for tension of the back window panel. I agree but I cant pull down hard enough to latch the roof I was wondering if I needed to trim the latch hooks to get the roof to latch firm but easier. what do you think?
