Nope,
That is like complaining because your address is on your mail at the house.
[edit]
If you were to monitor the traffic hitting your IP address issued to you by your ISP, most likely at your SOHO router/firewall, you would see that it is under attack continuously. I used to have a job where I monitored logs and instituted blocks based on scans and attacks. This was back in 2000/2001 when IA and security devices were not as safisticated as they are today. Anyway it is amazing how much malicious traiffic is on the internet continuously probing IPs looking for holes. If you don't use some type of firewall at the house, I suggest you get one. My neighbor used to just plug is computer directly into the cable modem, and he ran no firewall. He was always having troubles until I got him on the right path. At the time I had a Free BSD server I was using as a router firewall, and I saw the same stuff at home that I saw at work, so it was not just attacks on the DOD, it is internet wide.
I guess haveing your IP in the post could allow someone to get a better idea on where a poster is geographically located, and could possibly make it easier for someone to try to attack them. But my thinking is your should be prepared for an attack anyways.
