Fair enough, but you really should try one. If nothing else, just because it's fun.
And not breaking the rear loose during a poorly executed downshift (happens to all of us sometimes, no) is kinda cool.
I'm too cheap to run one even on the race bikes though. Starting to practice manual clutch slippage a bit these days. (you know, like Vale, only about 1% as skillfully)
