Recently talked to a used car dealer who subspecialized in Porsche. He suggested that the Boxster engines were prone to break. An otherwise interesting and enjoyable car, IMHO, if reliability , durability and expenses are not taken into consideration. I'd only try it if can find a cheap one in very good condition.
