Thanks for the input Won, I agree - seems like it should be an all or nothing deal. If you are going to use the gaskets, there are recessions in the flanges for 8 of them, no sense in using them on one side and not the other.

I guess since I have started into it with gaskets between the CV and boot flange, I will round the project out with 4 more (and pick up some of those special washers in the process).
