Is any body using the choke(s) on their Weber 40IDF conversion kit carbs? They call it the "Cold Start Option".

Has it helped you in starting the engine?

I have heard that the internal plungers the choke lever moves can get stuck in the rich position and you may not know it.

How do you activate the levers from the cockpit? I am thinking of plain old choke cable for manual control or a 12 volt normally open solenoid with a normally open on off switch.
