Don't lose heart now, the end is in sight. There are going to be loads of people who will benefit from this book.
When my projects get me down (usually towards the end) I usually get myself what I call a displacement activity... Just something else totally different to work on, investigate etc etc for a couple of hours. I find this outside stimulation actually helps me to focus again.
As someone else here said, "may the Porsche be with you ..."
