Had the same thing happen a couple of years ago. Put motion sensor lights in the driveway, side and back of the house. No problems since but that usually means that they just go elsewhere, which is what I want.
Graham, small problem there is that if you shoot someone stealing your V1, they better be threatening you or YOU will be the one going to jail. In most states there has to be a threat against the home owner (and it usually has to occur at home) before deadly force can be used.
