I think I'm the only one in Hell Paso. I've seen only one other early P-car around here, a white SC convertible. Maybe a dozen Boxsters. Everyone else has Fords, Chevys and those stupid Rice Tuners.
Oh yeah, those late 80's to early 90's American sedans with 22" rims that sit 3 feet off the ground seem to be the rage around here, too.
mca, my '88 is a daily driver...so the answer is YES, I do drive it in this heat. With the top down (Porsche air conditioning). Yesterday and today's high will be 104. My oil temp gauge has been steady at "9 'o clock".
