In my never ending quest to improve my equipment, I am now considering trying out some cams to see if they help or hinder. No I don't need more power, and my Wossner upgrade has not left me lacking, I just want to keep playing, and performance enhancements are part of the game for me.
I know there are a few off the shelf items, available from M-Tec and Max BMW, but the details on what they achieve are pretty thin. I have also found a few places that will grind new profiles on your stock cores, of course you have to know what you want! I quizzed Chris H on this topic and he said they had never messed with the cams because they aren't in the allowable mods for the racing they are doing.
Anybody have some thoughts or links for cam profiles are alternate cams for the R12S? Spare the flames
