Tim - I actually prefer laminating epoxy (a little thinner version of regular epoxy) vs marinetex in that type of repair. Fill the threads with candle wax - roughen up the edges of the holes and the nuts. Put some duct tape on the underside then fill the holes with laminating epoxy and let set overnight.
Regular epoxy would probably be OK too -
