I could have easily thrown this in the 944 technical forum but I'm aware of the 968's maintenance and repair points. I'm looking at this from a more broad, philisophical point of view, not pinned to the specific model or year here.
F it... maybe I should just get an old fox body five-0 and go have some drag strip fun...
