If you're not worried about being mowed down by an SUV while you're on a bike, you're not particularly bright. I'm sure that most of the riders on here would agree that situational awareness is exponentially more important while riding. People walk away from highway speed auto accidents every day, I don't believe you can say that about bikes.

I think you're taking this waaaaaay too seriously. Was only offering an alternative for those of us that enjoy high performance driving (or riding) but can't afford the price of a new Porsche Turbo.
I've been riding for more than 30 years and have managed to avoid any physical harm (to me or bike)....so I'm aware of the behaviors needed to enjoy a bike and live. But...that wasn't the topic at hand. If you'd like to discuss riding safety, feel free to start another thread...I'll be happy to chime in!
