no you have to call porsche and give them your VIN number. thats only only way you can get a PERFECT new key for your car. that is unless the key you have doesnt have much wear on it, then you can just take it to a locksmith or something. but i know that for me, my key is SUPER worn down and i had to call porsche and give them my VIN number. they made a key somehow off of that. i got it and it was BRAND NEW and it worked perfectly. not to many small businesses have the capability of making porsche keys because there is a special bit used only for those keys. its got some special amount of angle or something.
