It does seem wierd- I tried to call and got no answer also- went to his web site,(which is still probably up), looks like this guy spent almost as much as the factory on his operation and ads. Basic claim seemed to be;"We are the best,smartest,etc,etc Porsche guys in the world and anyone who takes their motor anywhere else or,(God forbid),tries to rebuild it themselves, is asking for a world of pain.
Can't say that I'm sorry to see him gone- the world has enough self-proclaimed Porsche gurus complete with "I'm late on a boat payment" prices. $3800.00 for a stock rebuilt 915 (not ltd.slip)??? Kiss my ***!!
Maybe he was the best Porsche mechanic in the world-I'll be watching the race reports for his name. Old saying- "When the green flag drops, the BS stops!"
