I'm planning to add a digital oil temperature gauge to my car and I need opinions on how and where to mount the actual sensor. Any ideas on where to place this thing so it will be submerged in oil? The car is an '87 and still on CIS. I daily drive my car in Atlanta heat so I just want to keep an eye on things during low airflow situations.
Here is a picture of the actual sensor I need to mount. I don't have the thread size on hand but is is pretty small.
