20,000 is a scheduled service in the book. Wtty here can be voided if an approved mechanic doesn't stamp the book and I think that is fair enough too. My wtty has timed out. I don't think I am alone in waiting for bikes/cars to be out of wtty before banging around in there trying to do stuff. Sure I do the oil, plugs and the valves.

Of course if my bike is due for service it's due for service...I don't understand what your saying.

edit) if I had clocked up 20,000 a year ago, I would be def getting it serviced by BMW and stamped.
