I'll never forget the first time I saw the top fuel cars run as a kid. Freaking awesome display of power. It's basically a gigantic explosion somewhat controlled by 8 pistons.
Not my cup of tea as far as racing goes, but definitely an automotive spectacle worth seeing once in your life. I'll be taking my boys to the Mile High Nationals one of these years to continue the tradition.
