First off, Congrats Patrick for doing so well on your classes. Cheers to you! I think everyone should have the opportunity to educate themselves later in life for either a change in career or just for their own, personal reasons.
I myself went back to school this last semester and took a Japanese 101 class. I chose Japanese because 1, it fit with my schedule so I could still go to work and 2, because it's one of the toughest languages to learn and I wanted to see how I'd do. When I was "college age" I hated school. I also had a very hard time getting up in the morning to get there!

Now going back after almost 20 years, I found that I love school! I am much more mature (obviously) and really put 120% effort into my class work. Much to the dismay of my classmates! When the semester ended last week I got an A!
So my point here is try education later in life, you might be pleasantly surprised!
