No don't be so impressed. They come to me roughed out. I have to finish them. It's a raw piece of wood in the shape of a stock with pilot holes for where everything goes. I have to fit all the parts by filing the wood to make it all go in there. Then I finish off the factory shaping and sand the whole thing to the proper tolerances and final wood finish. Then I finish sand it , stain it and seal it with a variety of finishes. You can bed everything with resin before or after you shoot it to check for accuracy. You CAN buy them finished though and the components just drop in. They are more money of course and you don't get the same satisfaction of doing it just the way you want it. They still should be bedded so everything stays lined up right.
Thanks for the comps though. I do restorations on old SXS shotguns. Rifles are for fun. I'll send you some pics of a couple restorations if you like. That is what I do best.
