Here's the setup I'd like, hopefully someone here has some sort of knowledge on this that can save me from a bad purchase...

I'd like to setup 2 or 3 IP cameras at home, 2 inside one outside for instance...

Ideally, i'd like to be able to access them via a secure webpage, but not necessarily have a server at home dedicated to that - just the IP cam talking to my router wirelessly and me querying the camera from anywhere.... So the camera itself has gotta have good firmware in it to host and serve the feed and maybe talk to its sisters to consolidate the display on one page.... Realistic or not?

Also, I wouldn'f mind if one of the inside cams was motion sensitive and emailed me a snapshot of what moved... Asking too much now ?

also not sure what the best way to power those is, ugly wires or batteries... it would be great if it could use an existing can light, for instance, for power...

Looking for ideas here, and I'd like to avoid having a computer on all day just for this, if at all possible... I can google the above, of course, I would prefer some hands on experience from a board member.. Thx !
