Hang in there, the Bionic Man wasn't built in a day(oh waitaminute..)

It's a good time to make sure the most common long-term building problems won't happen:
-positive slope away from foundation for surface drainage
-foundation rises well above grade for insects and flooding. mabye sump pump backup and radon needed
-structure is overbuilt by an x factor! no more squeeky floors
-northern rooms have some kind residual/passive light
-utilitys/plumbing are easy to get to
-bright kitchens an baths are a must
-metal roofs last a long time but tiles probably are better in that area
-bring the builders coffee/donuts and talk with them during thir down times. makes a difference.
-Have wifey tell you what shes wants, run it by her again, take wifey out for special occasion but keep her away from builders.
