If you're concerned about depreciating the value of your 911 don't convert it. It sounds like a wonderful car already. If your heart is set on owning a wide body sell your '87 and buy a 930 or a turbo look M491. There's a few out there for sale right now and they'll be much more valuable down the road compared to a modified or "chopped up" '87.
